We work on every Windows version from 7 through 11, plus macOS, from a desktop tower that needs a clean reinstall to a six-year-old MacBook Air with a swollen battery. Most repairs land between $50 and $200 depending on the work; we charge by time spent, not flat service fees, so a 5-minute setting fix won't be billed an hour.

Common jobs we keep parts on the shelf for: SSD upgrades (your single best speed boost), RAM upgrades, fans and thermal paste, charging ports on laptops, hinges, screens, batteries, power button assemblies.

We don't release a machine we wouldn't use ourselves. Every device gets a full multi-point check before pickup, boot tested, all ports verified, drivers updated, basic apps installed, temps and fans checked under load.

How long does a typical computer repair take?

Most repairs are done in 24–48 hours. Tune-ups, virus removal, OS reinstalls, and SSD swaps are usually same-day if you drop off in the morning. Specialty work (motherboard install, board-level soldering, parts on order) can take 3–7 days.

Is my older PC worth repairing or should I replace it?

Honest answer: it depends. We'll tell you straight up. If your PC is over 7 years old and the fix is over $200, a refurbished replacement is usually the better call. If it's a $50 SSD upgrade that'll triple the speed of a 5-year-old PC, we'll point you toward the fix. We won't sell you a $400 repair on a $200 machine.

Can you recover files from a dead hard drive?

Often, yes. Mechanical drives that still spin up have a high recovery rate. Drives with physical clicking, grinding, or that won't power up at all need a clean-room recovery service, we'll diagnose and tell you whether we can help in-shop or refer you to a specialist.

Do you do data backup before repair?

Yes, and we strongly recommend it. Auto Backup (files only) is $35. Full drive cloning is $75. Tell us how important your data is when you drop off and we'll lock it in before doing anything risky.

Do you charge if you can't fix it?

You pay only for the diagnostic time we actually spent, we don't pad to a flat $35 if it took 10 minutes to figure out. We'll always tell you honestly when a device isn't worth repairing.
