Labor is $50. The drive itself goes on top of that, and the price depends on size and type. SATA SSDs work in almost any machine and are the cheaper option. NVMe drives are faster and drop into a slot on the motherboard, but only if your computer has the right slot. We check what yours takes before we quote you a total. Text us and we'll tell you.

We clone your existing Windows install, your programs, and all your files onto the new SSD, so it boots up exactly like before, just fast. Nothing gets wiped, nothing gets reinstalled. If your old drive is failing, we'll tell you, and we'll pull what we can before it goes. Most of these are done same day.

Will I lose my files or have to reinstall Windows?

No. We clone your current setup onto the new SSD, Windows, programs, files, and settings all come over exactly as they were. You boot up to the same desktop, just much faster.

What's the difference between SATA and NVMe?

SATA SSDs fit almost any computer and are a massive jump over a spinning drive. NVMe drives are several times faster again, but your machine needs an M.2 slot to use one. We check what yours supports and recommend the right fit, text us your make and model.

How much will the whole thing cost?

Labor is $50. The drive goes on top, and the total depends on the size and type you need. Text us your computer details and we'll give you a real number, not a guess.

My drive might be failing. Can you still upgrade it?

Usually yes, but tell us up front. If the old drive is dying, cloning gets harder the longer you wait. We'll pull your data and get you onto a healthy SSD before it fails completely.

Is it really same day?

Most SSD upgrades are done the same day. Cloning takes time depending on how full the drive is, but you're not leaving it for a week. Everything is backed by our 30-day warranty on parts and labor.
