Labor starts at $50 plus the part. We look at it, find the actual problem, and tell you the full number before we order anything. Screens, hinges, charging ports, keyboards, batteries, fans, most of these are parts we can source within a day or two. Text us a photo of the laptop and the model sticker on the bottom and we will get you an exact quote, not a guess.
We check the obvious thing and the thing behind it. A charging port that's flaky might be a worn DC jack, or it might be the charger itself, which is a $25 fix instead of a board-level repair. A dead screen might be the panel or just a loose cable. We tell you straight. And when a 7-year-old laptop with a failing board would cost more to fix than it's worth, we say so instead of taking your money.
A cracked screen on a decent laptop runs a lot less than people expect, usually well under what a new one costs. The mistake we see most is folks tossing a perfectly good machine over a $120 repair. Bring it in before you replace it. We will tell you honestly if it's worth fixing.

How much does a laptop screen replacement cost?
Labor starts at $50 and the screen itself depends on your model, a basic panel is cheaper than a touchscreen or a high-resolution display. Text us a photo of the laptop and the model number off the bottom sticker and we will give you the exact total before we order the part.
My charger only works if I hold it a certain way. Is that the port?
Usually it's one of two things: a worn-out charging port (DC jack) on the laptop, or a frayed charger cable. We test both before quoting. If it's just the charger, that's a cheap fix, no reason to pay for a board repair you don't need.
How long will my laptop repair take?
Most repairs are done in 24 to 48 hours. The part is usually what sets the timeline, common screens, batteries, and keyboards we can get within a day or two. We will give you a realistic turnaround when we quote it.
Is it worth repairing an older laptop?
Often, yes, a screen, battery, or charging port fix can buy you a few more good years for far less than a new machine. But if the board is failing on an old laptop and the repair costs more than it's worth, we will tell you straight rather than take your money. Bring it in and we will give you an honest answer.
Do you back up my files before working on it?
For screen, hinge, port, and keyboard work your data stays untouched. For storage swaps or anything where there's risk, we talk to you first about backing up your files so nothing gets lost. Every repair carries a 30-day warranty on parts and labor.
