Dell Inspiron came in with a 5-minute boot time. Diagnosed as a failing 1TB HDD plus dried-out thermal paste. Cloned OS to a Samsung 870 EVO SSD, reseated heatsink with fresh Arctic MX-6, stress-tested at 76°C under full CPU load (was 96°C before). Boot time dropped to 11 seconds.
