About Our OS Install / Windows Reinstall
Sometimes the fastest path to a fast PC is starting over. We do clean Windows installs on your existing drive (or a new SSD if you are upgrading) with all the drivers and basic apps already in place, you take it home ready to use, no setup wizard hell, no junkware.

What we install: latest Windows version your PC supports, every driver your hardware needs, browser of your choice (Firefox / Chrome), Adobe Reader, Screenbox / VLC, plus any specific apps you ask for. Microsoft Office requires a license you bring.
Heading to Windows 11 from older hardware? See our Windows 10 → 11 Upgrade service, it handles the unsupported-hardware workarounds (MBR → GPT, partition resize) without losing your data.
OEM machines come with a recovery partition full of trial software, sponsored bookmarks, and apps that nag you to upgrade. A real clean install gets rid of all of that, you start from genuine Microsoft media with nothing extra.

Drop off your PC and we will have it installed, driver-loaded, and ready to use the same day. Bring any software licenses (Office, games, etc.) you want pre-installed.

Will I lose my files?
Yes, a clean install wipes the drive. Tell us what to back up first (Documents, Pictures, Desktop, custom folders) and we will save them to an external drive before installing. Standard backup is included; for full system clones see our Drive Cloning service.
Do you provide a Windows license?
If your PC has a digital license tied to its hardware (most retail PCs from 2014+ do), Windows reactivates automatically after install. If not, we will tell you upfront whether you need to provide one. Bring any product keys you have on stickers or in your email history.
Will my old programs come back?
No, clean install means clean. Programs need to be reinstalled. We can pre-install common ones (Office with your license, Steam, browsers, common drivers, etc.) at no extra cost while we are at it.
How long does it take?
2–3 hours of bench time, but we batch installs while we work on other repairs, so most are ready same-day if you drop off in the morning. Older PCs with slow drives may push to next day.
What about going from Windows 10 to 11?
If your PC officially supports Windows 11, the clean install rate ($50) applies. If your PC is technically unsupported but workable, see our Windows Upgrade service, we handle the MBR → GPT conversion and partition resize that the supported path requires.
