Have to wiggle the cable to get a charge, or the port's gone completely dead? A worn or damaged charging port is fixable — often for a lot less than you'd expect.
Half of "dead port" tablets just have packed-in lint and pocket dust — a proper cleaning brings them right back, cheap. The rest need the port itself replaced, which on most tablets is a soldered or ribbon-connected part under the screen. We diagnose first and tell you which it is before charging you for a repair you don't need.
Bring your usual cable and charger too — sometimes the real culprit is a frayed cable, and we'll tell you straight if that's all it is.
Before you replace the whole tablet: a charging port is one of the cheapest repairs we do. Don't retire a good device over a $2 part's worth of wear.
