About Our Back Glass Replacement
Cracked iPhone back glass looks bad and gets sharp fast. Apple charges $349–$549 for back glass replacement (or just refuses on older models). We do it in-shop with a laser glass separator that cleanly removes the broken glass without damaging the wireless charging coil or rear camera.

iPhone 8 onward have glass backs (for wireless charging). Replacement requires laser separation to remove old glass without damaging the wireless charging coil underneath, then re-bonding new glass with adhesive that needs to cure overnight.
Newer iPhones (iPhone 14/15/16) have a back glass design that allows for a quicker swap, those repairs may be cheaper and faster. We will tell you the exact labor and time when you give us the model.
Apple quotes back glass replacement at $349 for iPhone 14 and $549 for iPhone 14 Pro Max. We do it for $150 labor + part, typically $230–$300 total, in 1–2 days, in Highland.

How much does iPhone back glass cost?
$150 labor + the back glass part (typically $50–$150 depending on model). Total usually $200–$300. iPhone 14/15/16 with quick-swap design may be less.
How long does it take?
1–2 days. Actual laser separation and re-bond is about 2 hours, but adhesive needs to cure overnight before the phone is safe to use normally.
Will wireless charging still work?
Yes. Our laser separator removes the broken glass without damaging the wireless charging coil underneath. We test wireless charging before returning the phone.
Is back glass replacement worth it on an older iPhone?
Depends. On iPhone 13 and newer, definitely worth it. On iPhone X/11 era, weigh repair cost against trade-in value. We will tell you straight up.
Will I lose data?
No, back glass replacement does not touch the storage. Photos, apps, and settings preserved. Standard backup precaution recommended but not required.
