Some jobs make more sense at your place than ours. Network installs, server work, business IT support, smart-home setup, and any time hauling the gear in is more pain than the repair itself. Hourly rates depend on how far we drive, see the zone map below for your exact rate.

Can't get to the shop, or the problem won't fit in a bag? We come to you. A general house call covers the everyday computer and tech help that's easier to do at your place — especially for folks who'd rather we come to them than load up the car.

Typical house-call work: setting up a new computer and moving your files over, getting a printer working, sorting out email or password problems, a multi-PC setup for a new home office, TV mounting with a soundbar, or just patient one-on-one help for someone who finds tech frustrating. If it's a repair that needs the bench, we'll take it back and return it — return trips are half the trip rate.
Billing is simple: the hourly rate is set by how far we drive — $75/hr within 10 miles, $100 within 20, $125 within 30 — one-hour minimum, charged once even on quick fixes. No separate travel fee; the drive's baked into the rate. Everything's quoted before we schedule. Note: phone repairs stay in-shop only.
Some things are just easier at your kitchen table than over the phone. For a lot of our customers — especially the ones tech tends to frustrate — a house call is the least stressful way to get it handled.

How does house-call pricing work?
The hourly rate is set by drive distance, $75/hr within 10 miles, $100 within 20, $125 within 30, with a one-hour minimum, charged once even if the fix is quick. No separate travel fee. Past the first hour, time bills at that same hourly rate. Everything's quoted before we schedule.
How soon can you come out?
Most house calls are scheduled within 2–5 business days. Tell us your town and the issue and we'll get you on the calendar.
What if it needs to go back to the shop?
No problem, we take it in, fix it on the bench, and bring it back. The return trip is half the original trip rate, not a full second call.
How far will you travel?
Our service area runs about 30 miles around Highland, see the Service Area page for the zones and travel rates. Beyond 30 miles is by special arrangement.
Do you do house calls for phone repair?
No, cell phone repairs are in-shop only. But for computer, printer, network, smart home, and general tech help, we'll come to you.
